Imprecise credibility theory

چکیده
Abstract The classical credibility theory is a cornerstone of experience rating, especially in the field property and casualty insurance. An obstacle to putting into practice conversion available prior information precise choice crucial hyperparameters. In most real-world applications, necessary justify lacking, so we propose an imprecise estimator that honestly acknowledges imprecision hyperparameter specification. This results interval doubly robust sense it retains estimator’s freedom from model specification fast asymptotic concentration, while simultaneously being insensitive

متن کاملCREDIBILITY THEORY ORIENTED PREFERENCE INDEX FOR RANKING FUZZY NUMBERS
This paper suggests a novel approach for ranking the most applicable fuzzy numbers, i.e. $LR$-fuzzy numbers. Applying the $alpha$-optimistic values of a fuzzy number, a preference criterion is proposed for ranking fuzzy numbers using the Credibility index. The main properties of the proposed preference criterion are also studied. Moreover, the proposed method is applied for ranking fuzz...
متن کاملCredibility theory features of actuar
Credibility models are actuarial tools to distribute premiums fairly among a heterogeneous group of policyholders (henceforth called entities). More generally, they can be seen as prediction methods applicable in any setting where repeated measures are made for subjects with different risk levels. The credibility theory features of actuar consist of matrix hachemeister containing the famous dat...
متن کاملCredibility Theory in a Fuzzy Environment
In insurance, credibility theory (CT) is used to develop a weighted average of the claims experience of an individual contract and the experience for the whole portfolio, where the weight factor is the credibility attached to the individual experience. Recently, Liu and Liu (2002) and Liu (2007), in the study of the behavior of fuzzy phenomena, formulated an alternate version of credibility the...
